Hi Kelly, we just launched an advanced Media Analytics solution that instantly provides full function monitoring along with comprehensive context, sentiment and geo/demograhic analysis in over 30 languages. It also provides the extensive query depth you were looking for.
We've taken a 'Business Intelligence Techology' approach to analyze OnLine / Social Media.
Please check out www.sysomos.com. We'd love to show you what we are doing.

Hi Kelly,

My PR firm decided to go with Radian6 recently. It's best for our purposes in terms of price and functionality, but I have concerns about the influence widget - I think other companies do this better. I wrote a blog post comparing a number of these social media monitoring tools recently. Check it out if you have time - http://bit.ly/2bwQ49
I'd be interested to know more about your experiences with any of these or if there's anything else i'm missing.

Thanks,
David Robbins

I'd also like to chime in here. We offer a solution too and have a package aimed specifically at PR and marketing agencies. This allows them to run multi user setups, including data and idea sharing.

Jumping on the bandwagon a little, I admit, but to make people aware of alternatives, we have developed a highly-rated alternative based out of the UK - www.brandwatch.net

Kelly, please do email if you would like to try it out for a bit

Best wishes
Giles Palmer
(wierd that there is another Giles in this space!?!)

Kelly, good review and I think radian6 is bringing a whole new level of professionalism and thought leadership to social media monitoring.

We're about to launch our Social & Traditional media monitoring tool, MediaBadger with focus on Monitoring, Managing and Measuring (www.mediabadger.com)- although we're taking a rather different tact than radian6, SM2 and the 36+ other monitoring applications out there...going to be an interesting space in the next 24 months!

Hey there Kelly,

Thanks for the great detailed review. We are really glad you enjoyed the functionality and the user design of the platform. You are definitely correct in your assessment that the solution is really resonating with the PR and marketing communities. We originally designed the product with early adopter feedback from PR and marketing professionals and continue to absorb and develop new requests for even further enhanced functionality.

Again, thanks so much for this wonderful review.

Cheers.

As a competitor to Radian6, I'd invite you to check out SM2- there's a fully functional free version available and I'd be happy to upgrade your account for testing purposes. I'd also note that you might want to discuss pricing since Radian charges minimum of $500/month per Profile + $100 per user. Our plans are based on search results and have unlimited keyword phrases (as do theirs) and unlimited Profiles. We also provide an extensive suite of analysis tools including sentiment indicators, demographics, geo-location,authority ranking, etc.
Check it out!
