There are so few events in Ottawa (compared to Toronto or Montreal) so we really shouldn't be competing for numbers all in the same week. With Girl Geek Dinner, we're probably going to focus on more local speakers and hands-on workshops, as we've gotten feedback from our members at our crowdsourcing event. That makes it much easier to coordinate with other events. I'll take the initiative and be sure to drop a line to you and the Social Media Breakfast guys about our planned dates moving forward. As you probably know--the season openers for both CPRS and IABC are that same week as well!
